Easy to install

After you have removed your old cover, use an flat-head screwdriver to take out the four major attachment clips on the passenger side of the fob assembly. These are marked in red on the image below. Also, note the tabs for locating slots, which are yellow, that need to be disconnected also.
Replace the battery with a # CR2032 coin cell battery. The "+" side of the battery should face the fob's opening, and the "-" side should face the buttons made of rubber.
Attach the cover for the passenger side mirror by aligning the locating tabs. Once you've done that, put the driver-side fob back into the vehicle and test it. Press the push button located on the back of the key. If everything is working properly, your car should activate the parking lights and your doors will lock automatically.
